This policy explains what information PropPort (propportinvest.com), operated by Sam Cheng in New York, collects, how it is used and the choices you have. Questions: smarts@propportinvest.com.

Information we collect

• What you submit in our forms: your email address and property details such as address, asking price, property type, units, year built, rent, income and expenses, and any notes you add.
• Payment information: handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email, billing country/ZIP, the last four digits of your card and your purchase and subscription status. We never see or store your full card number.
• Technical data: basic information our form and hosting providers record automatically, such as browser type, device and IP address.

How we use it

• To generate and email your investment report.
• To process payments, manage subscriptions and confirm subscriber access.
• To answer questions, provide support and send service messages about your purchase or subscription.
• To improve PropPort, prevent fraud and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help run PropPort, and only as needed for them to do so:

• Stripe — payments, subscriptions and the billing portal
• Typeform — forms you fill out
• Make — the automation that processes your request
• Rentcast — rental and market data lookups for the property you submit
• Anthropic — AI analysis of the property details to write your report
• Google — sending the report email
• Netlify — website hosting

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

Cookies

Our website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Third-party services we link to, such as Typeform and Stripe checkout, may set their own cookies under their own policies.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and reports for as long as needed to provide the service and support you, and payment records for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those legal obligations.

Your choices and rights

• Request a copy of, correction to or deletion of your information by emailing us.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in the billing portal.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights; we will honor them as required by law.

Security

We rely on established providers that use encryption and industry-standard safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

PropPort is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.

We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date.
